We at The Gym on Moseley are working to make our site www.thegymonmoseley.com.au accessible to people with disabilities.
What Web Accessibility Is
At The Gym on Moseley, we’re committed to making our website, www.thegymonmoseley.com.au, accessible to people of all abilities.
An accessible website allows visitors with disabilities to browse and interact with the site with the same ease and enjoyment as other users, using assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and have designed our website to meet Level AA compliance. This ensures that our online content, forms, images, and documents are as accessible and user-friendly as possible.
Accessibility Adjustments on This Site
We’ve implemented several features to make this site accessible, including:
-
Clear contrast and easy-to-read font sizes
-
Optimised layouts and text alternatives for non-text content such as images and icons
-
Keyboard-friendly navigation and logical tab order
-
Accessible online forms for memberships and contact enquiries
-
Consistent and intuitive site structure for easy navigation
We continually review and update the website to maintain accessibility in line with the South Australian Government’s Online Accessibility Policy.
If you need information on this site in a different format (such as large print or plain text), please contact us and we’ll do our best to assist.
Accessibility Arrangements in the Organisation
We are also committed to ensuring our physical gym facilities are accessible and inclusive.
Our gym includes:
Private parking for patrons, a front entrance with a small edge, and a rear entrance with a gentle slope suitable for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
Inside the gym, duress pendants, a duress button, and a safety board support member safety. Support workers and carers are welcome to accompany patrons during their training sessions.
Our service desk is within 25 metres of the rear entrance and 10 metres of the front entrance, making it easy to access assistance when needed.
We are continually reviewing our facilities to improve accessibility and ensure every member feels safe, supported, and included while training at any time of day.
